The Colonial Beekeepers Association will present a five day Basic Beekeeping Course. The course will be held on four consecutive Thursdays with a Saturday Field Day. Classes will be held at the Northampton Community Center in Hampton, Virginia. The Saturday Field Day will be held in a local bee yard.
The course consists of lectures and hands-on demonstrations with an emphasis on sustainable, chemical-free practices. This course fulfills the educational requirement of six (6) hours of classroom instruction in introductory beekeeping training for the qualified level of the Virginia Master Beekeeper Program.

Dates: Thursdays 16, 23, and 30 of March and 6 April. 6 PM to 9 PM and a Saturday Field Day on 29 April, 10 AM to 3 PM.
BONUS DAY: 13 April, 6 PM to 9 PM, Woodenware Components and Assembly
